Qamar Khan (Chair) 

Qamar has extensive experience of organising cricket at club and coaching levels. He has led cricket projects in Birmingham, Leicester, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Surrey and recently returned from a successful trip to Toronto in Canada in 2013. 

Qamar has a professional background in project manager working for FTS100 companies in London. He brings these skills to the organisation of cricket and dealings with Cricket Scotland and Sports Scotland.  

Qamar is currently working closely with East Renfrewshire Council to enhance and expand cricket facilities in Barrhead and the Borough as a whole. 

Ammar Ashraf (Head Coach) 

Ammar leads the Coaching team and has been the organiser of the Schools Programme working closely with the Active Schools Team at East Renfrewshire Council. 

Absolutely fanatical about cricket, Ammar has been a leading light in Hamilton Cricket Club and played cricket extensively across Scotland. As a cricket fan he has toured the world following the ICC World Cup tournaments and has many stories to tell of his experiences. 

A fully qualified coach, Ammar is passionate about children, their health & wellbeing.
